You’re INVITED

you ARE INVITED to apply for membership in the New Orleans Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier, a philanthropic organization of women leaders in the fields of food, beverage, and hospitality.

LDEI’s diversified membership — composed of more than 2,300 members in 44 chapters in the United States, Canada, the UK, France and Mexico — reflects the multifaceted fields of contemporary gastronomy and hospitality.

Prospective members with at least five years of hospitality experience are evaluated on the basis of leadership, merit, ethical standards, and professional reputation. A final slate is voted on by the membership committee and full membership and new members will be notified in July.

Who we are:

Chartered in 2016, New Orleans is one of the organization’s newest chapters. Like the others, our goal is to create a supportive (and fun) culture in our community to achieve excellence in hospitality by sharing knowledge, supporting members, and providing leadership, educational and philanthropic opportunities for the community at large.

Since the sustainability of Les Dames depends on the character, commitment, and dedication of our membership, the honor and privilege of becoming a Dame comes with the responsibility of actively participating to uphold the integrity and mission of our internationally esteemed organization.

If you’d like to apply for membership, here is a link to the application. We ask that all applicants review our Code of Ethics and complete our Conflict of Interest Statement.

I hope you’ll consider joining us! Check out the list of our current chapter members Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me or any of the board members with questions. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
